Intex Mobiles is probably the only company in India that keeps launching new smartphones (silently) every now and then. There are 3 news handset listed on Intex website –Aqua Speed HD for Rs. 8,999, Aqua Xtreme V for Rs. 11,290 and Aqua Y2+ (upgraded Aqua Y2) for Rs. 5,190.

Aqua Speed HD
This handset houses the MediaTek MT6582M quad core processor running KitKat 4.4.2 with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. There is micro SD card slot and dual cameras – 8MP on the rear and 5MP on the front.

Touchscreen is 4.7 inches (IPS / fully laminated) supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Common features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The Speed HD comes with 1700 mAh battery with up to 5 hours of talk time. Aqua Speed HD is priced at Rs. 8,999.

Aqua Xtreme V
Xtreme V is powered by 1.7GHz MediaTek Octa Core processor (MT6592). This handset is running KitKat 4.4.2 with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 32GB micro SD card support. The handset sports a 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

Intex Aqua Speed HD, Xtreme V and Aqua Y2+

A 13MP AF camera is packed on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP on the front. Key features are 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. A 2000 mAh battery powers up Xtreme V with estimated talk time of up to 7 hours. Aqua Xtreme V is priced at Rs. 11,290.

Aqua Y2+
The Aqua Y2+ is powered by Spreadtrum 1.2GHz quad core processor (SC7731) running Android 4.4.2 with 512MB RAM, 4GB storage and 32GB external card support. This handset sports a 4 inch screen with WVGA resolution.

There is 5MP fixed focus camera on the rear and a 1.3MP on the front. Key features are 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. A 1500 mAh battery as per the company gives up to 6 hours of talk time. Intex Aqua Y2+ is priced at Rs. 5,190.
