Here is another octa core powered handset the Intex Aqua Power that was just launched yesterday for a price tag of Rs. 8,444. Well it is not just the octa core processor but also the battery of 4000 mAh that makes it more exciting.

The Intex Aqua Power as the name suggests is for both powerful performance and powerful battery backup. This dual SIM handset houses the MediaTek MTK6592M octa core processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Mali 450 MP GPU.

Aqua Power is with a 5 inch fully laminated IPS display however with a lower FWVGA resolution i.e. 854 x 480 pixels. Intex is also offering free screen breakage insurance for one year. The handset runs Android 4.4.2 out of the box with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There is micro SD card support too of up to 32GB.

This smartphone also comes packed with an 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash placed on the rear and a 2MP front facing fixed focus camera. Key features are 3G, 2G (EDGE/GPRS), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, can be used like a power bank and GPS.

The Intex Aqua Power is 9.3mm thick and gets power from a massive 4000 mAh battery that gives a talk-time of up to 18 hours. As per the company the battery can be fully changed within 2.5 hours.
