Intex Mobiles have upgraded the Aqua i5 handset a 1.2GHz quad core handset that came with qHD screen, the same stuff with an HD screen and 1.3GHz quad core processor. They have now launched the new improved version –  the Intex Aqua i5 HD for Rs. 9,990.

The dual SIM Intex Aqua i5 HD comes loaded with MediaTek quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali 400 GPU. Android 4.2 runs the show over a 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution (16M colors).

There is 1GB RAM, 4GB storage and micro SD card slot that supports 32GB external cards. The i5 HD also comes with a front camera of 5MP resolution and a rear camera of 13MP resolution with flash. Other common features are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.

The removable battery is of 2000 mAh capacity. The chipset used on the i5 HD is different from what was used on the Aqua i5. Probably most of you already know by now that XOLO will be rolling out the KitKat update in June, Intex might also roll out Kitkat update for the i5 HD version.
