Another low cost handset with 3G support, the Intex Aqua 3G has been launched for Rs. 3,555. The Aqua 3G is powered by a dual core processor, runs on Jelly Bean OS and sports a 4 inch screen with WVGA resolution.

The low cost mobile markets in India are currently flooded with many handsets priced at under Rs. 4,000. In fact with few days / weeks you will also find Firefox powered handsets for as low as Rs. 2000.

The Aqua 3G from Intex Mobiles, houses a 1GHz Dual core processor the chipset is not disclosed. Android 4.2.2 runs out of the box with a minimal RAM of 256MB and internal storage space of 512MB. Expandable memory of up to 32GB is supported.

This dual SIM handset (3G + 2G) comes with a screen of size 4 inches and supporting resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. There are dual cameras with below average resolution. 2MP on the rear and 0.3MP on the front. There is no LED flash, and not really needed as the camera resolution is too low, however if LED was present it would have served as a torch light.
