The Infinix Hot S3 was launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 8,999. Here is the Hot S3 review to give you an overall idea about the handset quality and performance. Is it worth the price and / or if it is better than the Redmi smartphone? find out.
This Hot S3 handset is using Snapdragon 430 octa core processor and packed with really good features. The build and finishing is very good. Performance is at par and the battery life is awesome. Camera quality however is average.
A good handset that you can consider as the next option after Redmi Note 5. Since the Note 5 is already launched makes sense to go with the Note 5 as that comes with better hardware. The good thing is that there is a price difference and it does justice to the Infinix Hot S3.

Rear Camera : 13MP auto focus, dual tone LED flash
Front Camera : 20MP, dual tone LED flash

Camera quality is average. Day shots are great but night shots / low light shots are not that sharp, details missing. The front camera comes with bokeh mode, does a very good job but when you zoom in you can see the details are missing – check video review. The FHD video recording is good.
Camera Rating : 3.5 out of 5

Verdict
Since the Redmi Note 5 has already been launched, would be better to invest a little extra and get the Redmi Note 5 handset instead of this Hot S3. Cause the Hot S3 is Snapdragon 430 octa core powered whereas the Redmi Note 5 is SD 625 octa core powered and the price difference is minimal. But the best option is the Redmi Note 5 Pro if that fits your budget.
