Idea cellular has added two new handsets to its existing range, the Idea Ultra II and the Idea !d 1000. The Ultra II with quad core processor is priced at Rs. 12,499 and the !d 1000 with a dual core processor is priced at Rs. 5,399.

The Ultra II runs on Android 4.2.2 and comes with a 5.5 inch screen with qHD resolution. There is 1GB on-Board RAM and 4GB storage. This handset is powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor with Mali 400 GPU.

This is a dual SIM handset with 3G (21Mbps), Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth support. There is an auto focus camera of 8MP with flash support on the rear and 2MP camera (fixed focus) on the front. Battery is 2500 mAh with talk-time of up to 8 hours on 2G and up to 5 hours on 3G networks. The Idea Ultra II is priced at Rs. 12,499.

The Idea !d 1000 is powered by 1GHz dual core processor. This dual SIM handset sports a 3.5 inch screen with HVGA resolution. Handset runs on Android 4.2.2 with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage plus 32GB micro SD card support.

Idea Ultra II  and !d-1000 quad core and dual core handsets

There is only one camera placed on the rear of 2MP (Interpolation) resolution. Key features are 3G, Wi-Fi, 2G, Bluetooth and GPS. The Idea !d 1000 is priced at Rs. 5,399.
