Another company called ICE X electronics have unveiled their branded tab called the ICE Xtreme – 7 inch low cost tab powered by Allwinner A10 processor for a price of Rs. 6,999. There is nothing new it’s the same hardware found on other brands.

The low cost tablet market in Indian has a lot of potential to grow and it is for this reason that many new companies are entering this market with their own branded product.  The Micromax Funbook created a lot of buzz and it was after their success that many new companies are venturing into this domain.

These companies make contacts in china where the manufacturing process takes place; they place the order which are then shipped back to India. The company in India then provides support, services and even creates customized ROM for better performance. Most of the companies have a base only in a particular state and are depending on courier service for pick and drop facility.

The ICE Xtreme tablet features are identical with some good additions which does justice to the price tag. Check out the tablet specifications to find out more.

ICE X electronics did manage to get better features into the ICE Xtreme tablet. The price though may look a bit on the higher side, but once you go through the specifications you will not mind. What I like in the specs  / features  is the 4700 mAh battery that is just too good (hopefully the tab will come with what the company promises), the triple layer screen protector, the storage 8GB NAND plus 8GB T-Flash and of course the 1GB DDR3 RAM. All this running on ICS and with a Jelly bean update (hopefully) it will be an icing on the cake.
