iBall Slide tablet running on the Gingerbread OS will soon be available in the Indian market. The iBall Slide with a 7 inch screen falls under the low cost tablet category and will compete with other low priced tablets.

There is a unique thing about iBall slide tablet which is the built in USB port. You can connect any external USB devices for example you can connect your USB keyboard and use it for typing on the tablet. Usually tablets do not come with USB port but then having one has its own disadvantage and that is it will not be slim. The iBall Slide configuration may look attractive but some may find it somewhat thick as compared with other tablets.

Slide tablet is powered by ARM Cortex-A8 1GHz processor and loaded with Android 2.3 OS which is the latest. The 7 inch capacitive screen supports multi touch inputs. This tablet comes with 8 GB of internal memory which is sufficient enough but in case you need more storage space you can add up to 32GB microSD card.
