iBall announced a new handset in the Andi series, the Andi Avonte 5. This is a quad core powered handset that comes with a unique 8MP AF rotating camera. iBall had already launched the iBall Avonte 2.4G smartphone with rotating camera module for Rs. 1,499. The Avonte 5 is a more advanced version.
iBall Andi Avonte 5 houses a 1.3GHz quad core processor (chipset known) probably it’s using the MediaTek chipset. Screen is 5 inches, it’s IPS and supporting 854 x 480 pixels resolution. This dual SIM handset is running Android KitKat 4.4.x out of the box with 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal ROM and micro SD card slot that supports up to 32GB external cards.
When it comes to the camera there is a single camera of 8MP resolution (auto focus) with dual LED flash with a rotating module, users can rotate the module and bring the 8MP camera with flash on the front as well as on the rear.
Other features are 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi. This handset gets power from a 2150 mAh battery.
iBall Ando Avonte 5 will hit the stores soon within few days with a price tag of Rs. 5,999.
