Huawei has launched the Nova 2i smartphone that features a big screen with 18:9 aspect ratio, powered by Kirin octa core processor and the key attraction is the dual cameras on the front as well as on the back.

Dual camera smartphone is the new trend, some manufacturers have started launching smartphones with dual cameras on the back and some with dual cameras on the front and now some have started launching smartphones that comes packed with 4 cameras i.e. dual cameras on back and dual cameras on the front too.

Huawei Nova 2i will be available in 3 color options Aurora Blue, Prestige Gold and Graphite Black. This handset as mentioned features a big screen of 5.9 inches, it’s an IPS screen supporting 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution (18:9 aspect ratio – wide screen).

Inside the hood the Nova 2i is using Huawei homemade Kirin 659 octa core SoC clocked at 2.3GHz. EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 runs the show with 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and 128GB micro SD support.

On the back you will find a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup  and on the front there is a 16MP + 2MP dual camera setup. So this smartphone can not only shoot professional photos (bokeh style) from back but also from the front.

Key features are 4G, VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. There is finger print sensor on the back Huawei Nova 2i weight with battery is 164 grams and it is 7.5mm thick. There is accelerometer, light, proximity and magnetic sensor.

Nova 2i houses a 3240 mAh non-removable battery that as per the company can be charged in less than 150 minutes and gives up to 20 hours talk time.

So Huawei Nova 2i has been silently launched, but the company is still silent on the pricing.
