At the recent Blogger meet event organized by Huawei in Mumbai, they showcased the Honor 5X handset much ahead of the official launch. The surprise element – the price, however, was not disclosed, it will be done on the launch day i.e. on 28th January 2016.
Huawei Honor 5X is packed inside a metal body (Aluminum Alloy). This is a dual SIM handset that comes with a separate micro SD card slot – so in all you will get 3 slots – a nano SIM slot, a micro SIM slot and a micro SD card slot. SAR Value is 1.18W/kg.
5X sports a 5.5 inch screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. This smartphone houses the 64 bit qualcomm snapdragon 616 octa core processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. EMUI 3.1 based on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 runs out of the box with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Micro SD card of up to 128GB is supported.
Also included is a 13MP primary camera with smart image 3.0 on the rear along with LED flash support and front camera is a 5MP shooter (fixed focus). Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. There is also a touch ID based finger print scanner (2.0) on the rear. You can assign particular finger to unlock and directly open particular app.
This is the Honor 5X.
A 3000 mAh non-removable battery powers up this handset.
The price has not yet been disclosed, stay tuned for the official launch on 28 of this month when the price will be unveiled along with another smartphone.
