Huawei has launched two new handsets in China, Huawei Honor 3X pro and the honor 3C 4G. As the name suggests the quad core powered 3C 4G supports 4G networks (LTE) and the 3X pro is powered by octa core processor.
The handset price in China for 3C 4G is approx Rs. 12,500 and for the Octa core 3X Pro it is approx Rs. 16,000. The Honor 3C has already been launched in India for Rs. 14,999 but that is with 3G support.
Honor 3C 4G is powered by Huawei Hisilicon Kirin 910 quad core processor with Mali 450 GPU. The 3C that has been launched in India is with 1.3GHz MediaTek processor, Kirin 910 is definitely better and needed as 1.3GHz MediaTek does not support 4G.
The 3C 4G version runs on KitKat with Emotion 2.3 user interface. The screen is HD LTPS of 5 inch size with HD (720p) resolution. The handset will be available with optional 1GB RAM/8GB storage or 2GB RAM / 16GB storage. There is 8MP rear camera (Auto Focus with flash) and 5MP front camera. Key features are 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The battery is of 2300 mAh capacity.
The dual SIM Huawei Honor 3X pro on the other hand houses 1.7GHz MediaTek’s MT6592 chipset with Mali 450 MP4 GPU. It runs on Android 4.2 (can be upgraded to 4.4) with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. There is micro SD card support of up to 32GB.
The 3X pro also comes with 13MP rear camera (AF with flash) and 5MP front camera. The screen is 5.5 inches HD IPS LTPS supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Battery is 3000 mAh capacity.
There is no word as to when these handsets will be launched globally.
