Huawei has silently launched the  Huawei Ascend P6S an upgraded version of the Huawei Ascend P6. The P6S is currently available in China for approx Rs. 27,000 (INR), no word as to when it will be made available in India.

When you compare the Ascend P6 with Ascend P6S, you will find that most the features are the same. The design is also the same, however P6S is a little thicker by 0.3mm. The P6S comes with slightly better processor – its 1.6GHz quad core as compared to 1.5GHz quad core on the P6. There were rumors about the P6S that it will be using an octa core processor, unfortunately it’s not.

The Huawei Ascend P6S supports dual SIM with dual standby mode. The screen size and resolution is the same on P6 as well as on P6S, i.e. 4.7 inch LCD screen with 1280×720 pixels resolution. Both these handsets come with 2GB RAM. The internal storage space has been increased to 16GB on the P6S as compared to the P6 that comes with 8GB storage.
