Huawei Ascend P6 a quad core handset running Jelly Bean 4.2.2 has officially been announced. This quad core is different from the rest. Ascend P6 has already taken the credit of being the slimmest quad core (6.18 mm thickness).

It is not just the thickness but also the weight (120 grams) that is the key USP. This handset is powered by quad core cortex A9 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. P6 sails on the Android 4.2.2 OS with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. There are dual cameras of 5MP on the front and an 8MP (BSI Sensor) on the rear side with LED flash.

The display screen is 4.7 inches with HD resolution i.e. 1280x720p resolution. Other features included are 3G, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. We are not sure if this handset will support the 4G network.

As for the battery its 2000 mAh that should comfortably last for a full day or more with moderate usage. The Ascend P6 will also come loaded with apps like Airshare, Me Widget, Smart Reading and Magic touch to name a few.
