Huawei Ascend P1s the wafer thin and light weight dual core smartphone running Android will be launched in India, this Diwali. The Huawei P1s is expected to be priced at under Rs. 26,000.

Huawei claims that the Ascend P1s is not only the fastest in the class with a 1.5GHz dual core CPU but also the slimmest in the word with just 6.68mm thin. This handset runs on Android 4.0 or ICS and probably could get the jelly bean update (not confirmed).

The 4.3 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display looks more vivid and colourful. This handset also gives a better battery performance by efficiently using the battery juice and lasting 30% more than the others.

A high resolution camera placed at the rear also comes with the enhanced features like BSI sensors also called back illuminated sensor that enhances the picture quality in low light conditions. Plus there is the close-up feature, group shot, panorama mode, face recognition and built in photo effects.

The Huawei Ascend P1s will be available in three colours black, white and pink. The handset is expected to hit the Indian markets in November with a price tag of under Rs. 26k.
