The quad core powered Ascend G6 from Huawei is now listed and available online for Rs. 16,999. This is a single SIM handset running Android 4.3 and comes powered by 1.2GHz qualcomm quad core processor.

The Huawei Ascend G6 was in the news along with the Honor 3C and the Ascend G750 handsets. The G6 though available in India doesn’t seem like a lucrative buy. The Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ is definitely a much better option when you compare the specifications and in fact the price is the same.

Ascend G6 weighs about 115 grams and is 7.5mm thick. It is single SIM handset sporting a 4.5 inch IPS screen with qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels). It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI. There is 1GB RAM and 4GB storage along with a micro SD card slot that supports 32GB external cards.
