Huawei Ascend D quad a Quad-core powered android smartphone with 16GPU will soon be launched in India for a price of over Rs. 28,000. The Ascend D quad will be compact, faster and the most power efficient android smartphone.
This 3G phone will come with a 4.5 inch LCD IPS capacitive touchscreen supporting 1280×720 pixels resolution with 16M colours. The pixel density is 325ppi. The Huawei Ascend D quad weighs 130 grams with 8.9mm thickness.
The Ascend D is powered by Huawei K3V2 chipset with a 1.5GHz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. The internal storage is 8GB with microSD support. This android smartphone runs on ICS (Android 4.0 OS) and like the Huawei Ascend Ps1 this too may get an upgrade to Android 4.1.
The key features are the 4 CPU (quad core) along with 16GPU which will definitely bring a smile on gaming users. Add to it the small sized chipset gives maximum performance with a lower temperature, so the handset will not heat up too much at the same time consume less battery juice. Another interesting feature is the earsmart technology by audience which cancels active noise via a dedicated mic.
An 8MP camera with dual LED flash, auto focus and host of other camera related features looks quite impressive. A 1.3MP front camera also included for video chats. These dual cameras can record videos in Full HD (1080p) as well as HD (720p) modes.
The Huawei Ascend D quad comes with compass, gyro, accelerometer and proximity sensors, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, Dolby Mobile 3.0 enhancement, 3.5mm jack and GPS. An 1800 mAh Li-ion battery powers this handset. Price and the launch date are still unknown (stay tuned).
