HTC has launched the Desire 816 for Rs. 23,990, the Desire 210 for Rs. 8,700 and the HTC One M8 for Rs. 49,900. The 210 is low budget handset powered by MT6572M chipset, the 816 houses the Snapdragon 400 processor and the M8 comes with Snapdragon 801 processor.
Good news for budget conscious consumers even big brands are slowly launching budget friendly handsets. The dual SIM HTC Desire 210 will hit the stores this month and the HTC Desire 816 will take few more weeks.
The HTC Desire 210 runs on Android Jelly bean 4.2 with sense user interface. This handset as mentioned is powered by MT6572M dual core processor clocked at 1GHz. It comes with 4GB internal storage, 32GB external storage support and 512MB RAM.
A 0.3MP camera is on the front and a 5MP on the rear. Key features are 3G, 2G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The 210 comes with 1300 mAh battery and priced at Rs. 8,700.
The HTC Desire 816 houses the 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad core processor running Android OS over a 5.5 inch screen with HD resolution. There is 1.5GB RAM and 8GB storage along with 128GB micro SD card support.
The 816 includes a 5MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera. Additional features are 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. The battery is 2600 mAh capacity and the price is Rs. 23,990.
The HTC One M8 is the most powerful of the lot using the 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad core chipset. It runs on Android 4.4 over a 5 inch screen with FHD resolution. This handset is 9.3mm thick and comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB optional storage.
There are dual 4MP camera on the rear with UltraPixel camera technology and refocus mode, plus a 5MP on the front. Key highlights are 4G, NFC, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. This is a SIM handset with 128GB micro SD card support. One M8 comes with 2600 mAh li-po battery for a price tag of Rs. 49,990.
