HTC has launched another version of the HTC One M8 and called it the HTC One M8s. The M8s is using a different chipset – other features are almost the same when compared with the M8. The One M8s houses the qualcomm snapdragon 615 64 bit octa core processor.
HTC One M8s is running Android Lollipop out of the box with 2GB of on-board RAM and 16GB built-in internal storage (ROM). Users can add up to 128GB of external storage via the micro SD card slot. The M8s sports a 5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) resolution. The screen comes with corning gorilla glass 3 protection.
Inside the hood it is using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset – 64 bit Cortex A53 clocked at 1.7GHz and coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. And instead of the 4 MP UlraPixel dual camera as seen on the M8, the M8s comes with a 13MP dual camera with f/2.0. This handset can record videos in full HD resolution. The front camera is of 5MP resolution.
HTC one M8s gets power from a 2600 mAh battery and supports 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS with A-GPS. M8s is priced at £380 that comes to approx Rs. 35K.
