The HTC Desire 826 has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 25,990. This handset is using the 64 bit octa core processor and it’s running Android 5.0.1 out of the box. Desire 825 will be competing with other smartphones in the price range including the recently launched Gionee Elife S7.

HTC Desire 826 is using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 64-bit octa core chipset clocked at 1.7GHz with Adreno 405 GPU. Android Lollipop 5.0.1 (with HTC Sense UI) is running the show with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is micro SD card support of up to 128GB. This handset weighs about 183 grams and it is 8.0 mm thick.

826 sports a Super LCD3 display of size 5.5 inches supporting full HD – 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. There is 13 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash packed on the rear with full HD video recording support and a 4MP UltraPixel camera packed on the front. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS (GLONASS / A-GPS) and Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n). This smartphone gets power form a 2600 mAh Li-Po battery.

HTC Desire 826 now in India for Rs. 25,990

HTC Desire 826 is priced at Rs. 25,990. Now the Yu Yureka is also using the same Snapdragon 615 chipset and comparatively much cheaper.
