HTC has unveiled the Desire 820s smartphone that will be using the MediaTek 64 bit MT6752 processor with 4G LTE support. The 820s is similar to the Desire 820 that was launched in India, the 820 is using qualcomm Snapdragon octa core chipset.
As far as the specifications are concerned the HTC desire 820s as already mentioned is powered by MT6752 octa core 64 bit chipset (1.7GHz) coupled with Mali T760 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
The 820s also supports dual SIM and runs KitKat Android 4.4.x over a 5.5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. This handset comes with 13MP rear auto focus camera with flash and 8MP front facing camera of better selfies. There is a micro SD card slot that supports cards of up to 128GB.
Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The 820s will get the Android 5.0 lollipop update. The Desire 820s houses a non-removable battery of 2600 mAh capacity. The pricing details are not yet known.
