At the Double Exposure event in Mumbai, today, HTC announced the Desire 820 and the Desire 820q handsets. They also announced the RE camera that will come for just Rs. 9,990 (introductory price). Some of these devices will be available soon on Snapdeal.

The Desire 820 sails on KitKat with Sense UI and is powered by qualcomm snapdragon octa core processor (1.5GHz quad + 1GHz quad) 615 chipset. It supports dual SIM with 4G. This handset sports a 5.5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There is 13MP rear AF camera with BSI sensor and LED flash and a 8MP on the front.

Desire 820 comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. 128 GB micro SD card is supported. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Battery is 2600 mAh that gives up to 22 hours of talk-time on 3G. The HTC Desire 820 is priced at Rs. 24,990.

The 820q on the other hand is dual SIM powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor (64Bit qualcomm snapdragon). It is a trimmed down version of 820. Screen is the same 5.5 inches with 720p resolution. There is 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and micro SD support. An 8MP camera is on the front and 13MP on the rear. Battery capacity is 2600 mAh. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The Desire 820q is priced at Rs. 22,500.

Both the 820 and the 820q will be made available next month.

HTC also launched the One M8 Eye for Rs. 38,990 It is using the 801 qualcomm snapdragon quad core 2.5GHz processor with Adreno 330 GPU. This handset comes with 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 5MP front camera. There is 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 128GB micro SD card support.

HTC one M8 eye launched in India

Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Battery is 2600 mAh capacity. The M8 Eye will hit the stores tomorrow for Rs. 38,900.

The HTC Desire EYE was also announced. This is 801 quad core powered with 13MP AF camera with dual LED flash on the front as well as on the rear. The Desire Eye will be launched soon, price not yet disclosed.

The HTC RE camera device will be made available in November. This device comes with 16MP camera that can shoot 1080p videos. It is fixed focus with wide angle lens and IPX7 certified i.e. water proof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. There is 820 mAh battery that gives FHD video recording time of up to 1 hour 40 minutes.
