HTC launched the Desire 620 and the Desire 620G in Taiwan for $225 and $160 respectively. Both the handsets come loaded with same specifications except for the processor. The 620 handset is using snapdragon 410 processor while the 620G houses the MediaTek octa core processor.

HTC Desire 620 and Desire 620G supports dual SIM and are running Android 4.4 with HTC Sense version 6 out of the box. The main difference as already mentioned is the processor. 620 is using Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64 bit quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 GPU, this chipset also supports 4G. The 620G on the other handset houses a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 processor coupled with Mali 450 MP GPU.

Other features are the same, both handsets sport a 5 inch IPS screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There is 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and micro SD card support. The 620 handset supports 128GB external cards and the 620G will support only up to 32GB external cards.

There is 8MP rear BSI camera with flash and 5MP front camera. FHD video recording is supported. There are dual stereo speakers placed on the front. Key features are 4G (only on 620), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.

HTC Desire 620 and 620G launched

These handsets get power from a 2100 mAh battery. The HTC Desire 620 is priced at approx Rs. 14K and the HTC Desire 620G for approx Rs. 10K. No word about its availability/price in India.
