HTC has announced the Desire 510 smartphone that supports 4G LTE and comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The handset runs KitKat with HTC sense UI and though the price has not yet been revealed, HTC has mentioned that it will be ‘highly affordable‘.
The HTC Desire 510 comes with a 2100 mAh battery and the weight is 158 grams. The handset is 9.9mm thick. As mentioned it is using the 410 Snapdragon chipset (64 Bit) with Adreno 306 GPU. Screen is 4.7 inches supporting FWVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels).
There is 1 GB on-board RAM, 8 Gigs of internal storage and of course micro SD card support. The 510 also comes with a front facing VGA camera and a rear facing 5MP auto focus camera without LED flash. Key features are 4G (LTE), 3G, 2G (EDGE / GPRS), Wi-Fi (b/g/n), GPS with GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.0.
The 2100 mAh battery that the handset houses gives a talk time of up to 17 hours on 3G networks. The Desire 510 will be made available in Asia and Europe (selected regions) for a affordable price tag (not yet disclosed).
