HTC had announced the HTC 10 and the HTC 10 Lifestyle smartphones recently. There are two variants, each using a different chipset. HTC will launched the global version (the one with Snapdragon 820) in India, pretty soon.

The HTC India website had initially listed the HTC Lifestyle model and it was assumed that the Lifestyle variant with snapdragon 652 would be launched in India, however as of now the HTC India site has updated and now showing the global snapdragon 820 variant.

The HTC 10 that will be launched in India is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 820 quad core processor, there are already some handsets available and using the same chipset in India. The 10 sports a 5.2 inch Quad HD screen (1440p) with curved edge gorilla glass protection.

This is a single SIM handset that runs HTC Sense UI over Marshmallow (Android 6.0) with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM. There is micro SD card support too, to add external storage. Other highlight is the 12MP HTC ultrapixel camera with laser AF and f/1.8 aperture. Front camera is 5MP. Rear camera can shoot 4K videos.

Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, NFC, DLNA, WiFi, BT 4.2, Finger Print sensor and GPS. This smartphone comes with USB Type C port (3.1) and houses a built in 3000 mAh battery with quick charge 3.0 support.
