HP has launched a Tablet and a Phablet, the HP Slate 7 voicetab tablet is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor available soon for Rs. 16,990 and HP Slate 6 voicetab Phablet with quad core processor with a 6 inch screen for Rs. 22,990.
The HP Slate 7 sports a 7 inch screen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with 16GB internal storage and 1GB RAM, there is external card support (Micro SD card slot). The Slate 7 comes powered by Marvell PXA1088 quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
In addition this tablet also supports 3G with voice calling (there is a SIM slot). Key features are 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. There is 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. The tab weighs about 325 grams and comes with a 4100 mAh battery. HP Slate 7 is priced at Rs. 16,990.
HP Slate 6 on the other hand comes with a 6 inch screen supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is also powered by PXA1088 Marvell quad core processor @ 1.2GHz. On-board RAM is 1GB and internal storage is 16GB. Micro SD card is supported.
The Slate 6 has got dual SIM slots (micro + normal SIM) with voice functionality. There is 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. This Phablet runs on Android 4.2 and comes with a 3000 mAh battery.
HP Slate 6 is priced at Rs. 22,990. These voicetabs will be available within few days.
