Honor 9 Lite Gaming Review
I played Asphalt 8 in high quality mode it was playable but not really that smooth, you can feel a constant lag, though the car controls were good. Reduce the resolution and it played well, in fact if you reduce the screen resolution in settings to 1280 x 720p the game play improves.
Honor 9 Lite Camera Review
Rear Camera : 13MP + 2MP, LED flash, Wide Aperture Mode, Portrait Mode
Front Camera : 13MP + 2MP, Portrait Mode
Video Recording : FHD resolution
This handset comes with dual cameras on the back and dual cameras on the front. Camera quality is excellent and the bokeh effects via Wide Aperture mode / Portrait mode does look really good. If you compare this with the Honor 7X the quality is the same, at times the edges are not sharp and merge with background (when using wide aperture / portrait mode).
The picture quality is better on 9 Lite if you compare with the 7X samples, but I guess the 7X got an update and that improved the camera performance so you can say it is as good as the 9 Lite. Not much of a noticeable difference in camera performance.
Low light and night shots turned out great. Use the night mode / plus there are many professional modes that makes it so easy to capture pro shots.
The handset can shoot FHD videos, quality is good but focusing is slow when recording videos. Selfie is cool, you get to use the bokeh mode using dual cameras on the front. Do check the samples below.

Verdict
The Honor 9 Lite is a impressive handset, not just the look but the price is just too good. Excellent handset in all departments, just that the battery performance is just about average, with about a day of battery life – depending on your usage.
If you loved handsets with a 5 inch screen (small size) then you will love this handset.
