Huawei has launched a new Honor handset in China called the Honor 7X. This handset comes with a 18:9 full HD+ screen and packs a 16MP + 2MP camera on the back. Honor 7X price in China starts from RMB 1299 that comes to approx Rs. 12,800.

After dual cameras the next trend is smartphones with wide screen – a 18:9 aspect ratio screen. The Honor 7X features a 5.9 inch screen with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, this screen is also using 2.5D curved glass  and as mentioned the aspect ratio is 18:9.

Honor 7X runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 with 4GB RAM, 32/64/128 GB ROM and 256 micro SD card support. Inside the hood the 7X houses the Kirin 659 octa core processor with Mali T830 GPU. This is a dual SIM handset using hybrid slot nano + nano / micro SD.

On the back there is a 16MP + 2MP dual cameras with LED flash support and on the front there is a 8MP camera. All these 18:9 screen smartphones are using finger print sensor on the back. Other features are 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Handset weight is 165 grams with 3340 mAh battery non-removable battery.

Honor 7X is priced at RMB 1299 (approx Rs. 12,800) for 32GB, RMB 1699 (approx Rs. 16,800) for 64GB and RMB 1999 (approx Rs. 19,800) for 128GB version. It will hit the stores from 17th October in China.
