Huawei today announced the Honor 6X, another handset with dual rear cameras. This handset was unveiled in China with a price tag starting from RMB 999 (approx Rs. 10K). This smartphone is powered by Kirin 655 chipset and packed with 3GB/4GB RAM.
Honor 6X features and specifications
The Honor 6X houses the Hi-silicon Kirin 655 64 bit 16nm octa core processor clocked at 2.1GHz coupled with Mali T830 GPU. This smartphone sports a 5.5 inch screen with 2.5D curved glass and supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
EMUI 4.1 over Android Marshmallow runs out of the box with optional 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM or 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB ROM. This is a hybrid dual SIM handset, you can use micro SD card of up to 128GB.
Honor 6X weight is 162 grams and thickness is 8.2mm. On the back there is a 12MP camera with LED flash and another camera of 2MP resolution – two cameras on the back. Front camera can shoot in 8MP resolution.
Other features are 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi and finger print sensor. A 3340 mAh battery power up this handset (fast charging is supported).

Honor 6X price in China
The company has come up with aggressive pricing, the 3GB RAM variant comes for RMB 999 (Approx Rs. 10K), the 4GB/32GB variant for RMB 1299 (Approx Rs. 13K) and 4GB/64GB variant for RMB 1599 (Approx Rs. 16K).
The handset will initially be made available in China by end of October.
This could be a hit if it is launched in India at this price tag.
