GoPro launched the GoPro Karma, drone and versatile stabilization solution. Karma as of now is available in selected U.S. Retail stores and on GoPro.com website, it will be made available in International markets pretty soon (Spring).  

GoPro Karma is a compact backpack that houses an image stabilizer with grip, you can wear it or hold it. Also included – Karma controller and a Karma drone that is compact and fold-able. The backpack is easy to carry and you can use any of these Karma’s to capture amazing shots / videos.

It’s a fold-able drone, to use you will need to unfold and use the game style controller with integrated display (touch screen) to view and shoot what the drone sees. Then the 3 axis camera stabilizer will help you get ultra smooth shots. You can attach the 3 axis to hand grip for hand held video shooting or use it on a body mount.

GoPro Karma Drone launched

Karma Drone comes with pre defined flight patterns as seen in Hollywood movies – orbit, aerial shots etc. More functions will be added via software updates in the future.

Karma controller and a Karma drone

Karma backpack with Hero5 Black GoPro camera is priced at $1099.99 (approx Rs. 74K) and the Karma without GoPro Camera (in case you already have the GoPro camera) will cost $799.99 (approx Rs. 54K). Flight Kit for Karma Grip (fight solution for customers who purchased Karma Grip as standalone) will be available in April for $599.99 (approx Rs. 40K).

GoPro withdrew Karma in November 2016 cause of some issues with power, they have now fixed the issue and are back.
