We all know that the next Android version will be 6.0 and it will be called Android M. Google had not officially revealed what the ‘M’ stands for, until now. It is now official the M stands for Marshmallow.
Android 6.0 will come packed with a lot of new features and it will support new hardware’s. USB Type –C, built in finger print support (native), android pay and 4K resolution are some features that the Android Marshmallow will support.
The OnePlus 2 that was recently launched comes with USB Type C port and in the coming month / year you will find more devices using the Type C port. There is still time for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow to be rolled out for general users, but just recently Google released the almost final SDK version for the developers. The Android M will also offer ARMv8 64-bit native support.
The Android 6.0 is expected to be made available before 2016.
