It’s official Google is planning to launch their premium smartphones in the month of October 2016. As per rumors it will be called the Google Pixel – there will be two variants Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL. The handsets will be launched on 4th October.
If you visit madeby.google.com website you will see an outline of a smartphone with the G logo on the right side and the date on the left side. Officially the handset will be launched on 4th but if you checking the page from India you will see 5th Oct date.
Both Google Pixel / Pixel XL will be running Android Nougat out of the box with Snapdragon 820 / Snapdragon 821 chipset. The touch screen as per rumors will be 5 and 5.5 inches with FHD and Quad HD resolution. The Pixel smartphones will also come with finger print sensor on the back.
Other features – 4G LTE, VoLTE, BT, WiFi and GPS. And yes the USB Type C port. As far as the battery is concerted it will be between 2500 to 3500 mAh.
