I am sure all of you have heard of the Google Glass in 2012 and probably in 2013 it will be available for a price tag anywhere between 50,000 to Rs. 90,000. There is no confirmation yet if the device will reach the stores in 2013 or in 2014.

The price tag in USD is 1500 for selected few. The device look like normal goggles except it’s a high tech device that runs on the Android OS with a small screen in front of the eye coupled with GPS and motion sensors. There will be Wi-Fi and Bluetooth that can be used to connect the Google Goggles with a smartphone for 3G/4G sharing and other features.

Google Glass will be like those tablets without phone features but probably you will be able to use the same by paring it with your smartphone. There is camera and GPS that keeps track of your location. For input you use your voice. The output is on screen or via voice.

You hear via the bone induction method that vibrates the skull to send sound into inner ear. You can take pictures, videos, read and send SMS / chat using voice input/ output. You can get direction thanks to the built in GPS and without having to TOUCH anything.  You can also get info on anything that you are looking at using the augmented reality that shows up information taken from the camera and then getting info from the net.
