Gionee has updated their DOA (Dead on Arrival) policy from 7 days to 30 days – from date of purchase. This means that when you buy a Gionee smartphone and if you face any hardware issues you can get the device replaced within 30 days.
As per Gionee’s new policy any Gionee handset bought by the user can be replaced in case there is a hardware / manufacturing defect within 30 days of purchase / activation. There are however certain terms and conditions that need to be fulfilled.
The handset will quality only if it was purchased within 30 days. User should provide original invoice with IMEI details. The box pack / original accessories should be handed over – basically the full box with all the accessories, as is.
There should be no scratches (major scratches), liquid damages, tampering etc on the handset. Customer will need to submit the defective handset with the box, accessories etc at nearest authorized service centre. The service centre personals will try to replicate the defect / issue and it should reproduce otherwise application will not be processed.
