Gionee today announced 4 new handsets the Gionee CTRL V6L, Pioneer P5L, P6 and P4S. The CTRL V6L and Pioneer P5L both supports 4G LTE and are priced at Rs. 15K and Rs. 10K respectively. The P6 and the P4S are 3G supported smartphones that may be priced at under Rs. 10,000.

On the hardware front the Gionee Pioneer P5L LTE will be powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor (chipset unknown). It will support 4G LTE, 3G and 2G. The handset will sail on Android 4.4.x with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. The micro SD card slot can be used to add 128GB of external storage.

The Pioneer P5L will also include an 8MP auto focus camera on the rear. It will be using a 1800 mAh battery. Gionee P5L LTE will be priced at (MOP) Rs. 10,000.

The Gionee CTRL V6L is another handset that supports 4G LTE and is powered by 1.2GHz unknown quad core processor. This handset is 6.9mm thick and runs Android KitKat. It houses 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and can support up to 128GB external card. There are dual SIM slots and the IPS touch screen size is 5 inches. The CTRL V6L LTE comes with 1950 mAh battery and also supports DTS, it is priced at Rs. 15,000 (MOP).

Gionee PioneeP5L and CTRL P6L 4G supported handsets announced

Gionee P4S is entry level phone with window flip support wherein users can view date/ time, weather info on the magnetic flip cover window. The specs are not revealed. Gionee P6 is with a 5 inch screen supporting FWVGA resolution. Both the P4S and the P6 will be supporting the 3G networks and probably be priced at under Rs. 10,000.

While revealing these smartphone Gionee also mentioned that from 2015, 4G LTE will become the minimum standard for all devices that are priced over Rs. 10,000.
