About 10,000 Gionee F103 pro handsets were imported into India on 21 and 24 June. If it is a new handset, Gionee may soon launch it India, it looks like an upgraded version of Gionee F103. The Gionee F103 Pro houses the MediaTek  processor and it supports 4G LTE with VoLTE (Voice over LTE). Handset will be priced at around Rs. 10,990.

Gionee F103 Pro features and specifications

Display, OS and Hardware

The F103 Pro is another handset in the Gionee fashion series. As you all know Gionee F103 is already available with 1GB, 2GB and 3GB RAM. The Gionee F103 Pro could well be the same 3GB RAM version that is already available in India or it may be a new handset, with new logo on the back.

Not sure if it will be using a quad core processor but that will make no sense as F103 with 3GB RAM already comes with same specification. This smartphones sports a 5 inch screen (IPS) supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution running Amigo UI over Android Marshmallow 6.0. Handset weight is 143 grams and thickness is 8.5mm.

Memory and storage

There is 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage space (ROM). Users can also use external micro SD card of up to 128GB.

Gionee F103 Pro launched

Camera

On the back there will be an 8MP or 13MP auto focus primary camera with LED flash support and on the front you will find a 5MP fixed focus secondary camera. Older F103 came with 8MP camera, if this is just a camera upgrade then again makes no sense.

Additional features and battery

Dual SIM Gionee F103 Pro supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. There are 3 sensors accelerometer, light and proximity. A 2400 mAh battery or more may power up this smartphone.

Gionee F103 Pro imported

Handset imported on 21 st June 2016 and 24th June 2016 around 10,000 units.

Price in India and availability

If this is a new handset, then the Gionee F103 Pro will be launched soon and price in India is expected to be Rs. 10,990 – it will be available soon online and offline.

But I really doubt if this is a new handset, seem like the old F103 with 3GB RAM in a new body with the new Gionee logo.
