At the Gionee Elife S7 launch event, Gionee had already mentioned that they will soon launch the Gionee Elife E8 smartphone, a successor to the Elife E7. The Elife E8 GN9008 incidentally got listed on TENAA (Telecommunications equipment certification center in China). The phone is listed there along with some of the specifications.

As per the info listed on the TENAA site the Elife E8 sports a 6 inch screen with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The handset is about 9.6mm thick and comes with a decent 3520 mAh battery. There seems to be a finger print scanner on the rear side just below the lens. And the rear camera is with dual tone LED flash, clearly seen in the image.

The Gionee Elife E8 could be powered by 2GHz processor (probably MediaTek Octa Core) coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The handset will support 4G LTE and will also come with micro SD slot that can add up to 128GB external micro SD cards.
