Gionee as expected launched the Gionee A1 and the Gionee A1 Plus at MWC 2017. Both these handsets are made for selfie users in mind and they are running latest Android Nougat out of the box.

Gionee A1 features and specifications

This dual SIM handset runs Android 7.0 with Amigo UI. Screen is 5.5 inches with 2.5D curved glass supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution (Full HD). Inside the hood Gionee A1 is powered by MediaTek Helio P10 octa core processor with Mali T860 GPU. There is 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and 128GB micro SD support.

On the back there is a 13MP f/2.0 AF camera with LED flash support and on the front there is a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, front camera also comes with front selfie flash. Key features are 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, Finger Print Sensor and Bluetooth 4.1.

A 4010 mAh battery powers up the Gionee A1 – fast charging is supported. Gionee A1 is priced at $369 (approx Rs. 25K).

The A1 Plus is also dual SIM but sporting a 6 inch IPS screen with a 2.5D curved glass supporting  1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Android Nougat 7.0 runs with Amigo OS with 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and 256GB micro SD support.

Inside the hood the Gionee A1 Plus is powered by MediaTek Helio P25 octa core processor with Mali T880 GPU. CPU is clocked at 2.5GHz. Coming to the camera there is a 13MP AF, f/2.0 aperture camera on the back and a 20MP f/2.0 camera on the front.

Key features are 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G, 2G, finger print sensor, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. A 4550 mAh battery powers up the Gionee A1 Plus. Fast charging is supported.

Gionee A1 Plus is priced at $527 (approx Rs. 35K).

These handsets will hit the stores in April 2017.
