G-Five now enters the low cost android market to compete with other brands like Micromax, Karbonn and Spice. G-Five have launched A79, A86, I88+, G95 and G3D android smartphones with affordable pricing.

It is good news for Indian consumers; they can now afford an android phone with high end features. While most of you are already waiting for the Karbonn A24 or the Micromax A90, here is another brand called the G-Five which has recently launched 5 new models with specifications almost similar to the other brands.

G-Five A79

This is an entry level phone with a price tag of Rs. 6,999. The G-Five A79 sports a 320×480 pixels resolution display of 4 inch size with a 5MP camera sailing on an 832MHz processor running Gingerbread or Android 2.3 OS. Sounds familiar to Karbonn A7, well yes but with a bigger screen (Karbonn A7 comes with 3.5 inch screen).

G-Five A86

A better model as compared with the A79. The G-Five A86 comes with a higher resolution of 480×800 pixels (4 inch capacitive touchscreen) with an 8 megapixel camera along with a front camera of VGA resolution. A 1GHz processor powers this handset running Android 2.3 on a massive 2800 mAh battery. This model will be priced at Rs. 7,999.

G-Five I88+

This one too comes with a 480×800 pixels resolution – capacitive touchscreen but with a 4.3 inch screen size. A 1GHz processor powers this handset with 512MB RAM (DDR3) and a 4GB of internal storage. The G-Five I88+ runs on the ICS (Android 4.0 OS). The price is Rs. 8,899 a good competitor to the Spice Mi-425 or the Karbonn A9.

G-Five G95

This model sports a 5.3 inch screen perfectly fits into the Phablet category. However even with a bigger screen the display resolution is still WVGA (480×800 pixels), which is kinda disappointing. This handset too runs on ICS (Android 4.0) Os and rest of the features are similar to G-Five I88+. G95 is priced at Rs. 9,499 and proudly claims to be the cheapest android handset with a 5.3 inch screen.

G-Five G3D

As the name suggest this handset supports 3D that too without a need of any 3D glasses. The specifications are the same as on the I88+ except, the G3D comes with 4.3 inch qHD resolution (960×540 pixels) with HDMI port. This android handset runs on ICS and powered by 1GHz processor. The G-Give G3D price in India is Rs. 11,799.

Though the features are impressive the G-Five is a less known and a less bought brand as compared with Micromax, Spice and Karbonn. Only time will tell if users will be giving more preferences to the brand or the features.
