Fronix Aurora II is what Fronix Technologies claim to be the first Jelly Bean dual core tablet to be launched in India. The initial units will however come loaded with ICS OS but can be upgraded to Jelly Bean later on by end of this month.
Fronix is already selling the Fronix Star tablet, you can check the Star review, this tab competes with the recently launched Micromax Funbook Alpha and the VeeDee D13 all of which are sharing the same hardware with some small changes.
The Fronix Aurora II will be powered by a Dual core processor + 4GPU – Rockchip RK3066 (1.6GHz) + Mali 400. The RAM will be 1GB DDR3 and the 7 inch display screen will be of 1024×600 pixels resolution.
Other features are 8GB internal storage and dual cameras. This is all the information we have for now. This tablet will soon be available in the market with ICS OS, but later on by the end of September Fronix will roll out the Jelly Bean update.
