Fly Mobiles have launched 3 new handsets the Fly 45s, Fly F51 and Fly F40. The F40 is a low end model as compared with the other handsets. The handsets are priced at under Rs. 13,000.
Fly F40
This dual SIM handset is powered by a single core processor clocked at 1GHz with 170MB internal storage and 256MB RAM. The handset does not support 3G. The F40 is 12.25mm thick and runs on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread OS). The touch screen is 3.7 inches with HVGA resolution (480×320 pixels).
Other features are 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack and micro USB. The battery is of 1400 mAh capacity. The Fly F40 sports a 3.2 MP rear camera and is priced at Rs. 4,500.
Fly F51
This dual SIM handset too does not support 3G and GPS (seems weird check the fly site), just like the F40 model. The Fly F51 is powered by a dual core processor (1GHz) running ICS OS with 512MB RAM and 512MB internal storage. The handset is 11.5mm thick. The touch screen is 5 inches support a resolution of WVGA (800×480 pixels).
This handset comes with a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. Other features are 2G, Wi-Fi, micro USB, 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth. F51 comes with 1800 mAh battery and is priced at Rs. 7,800. Fly Mobiles will also launch the F51s version with slightly higher specifications.
Fly F45s
This fly handset runs on the Jelly Bean OS Version 4.1 and sports a 4.5 inch qHD screen (960×540 pixels). This handset supports 3G and is 12.8mm thick. The Fly F45s is powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and comes with 1GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. The handset sports a 12 MP rear camera and a front 3MP.
Other features are 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, micro USB, 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi and GPS. A 2050 mAh battery powers this handset. It is priced at Rs. 12,500.
The specifications are nothing new and seem a little weird (could be typo error on fly website) but the price is definitely on the higher side, that will make the consumers fly away!
