Fly Mobile has launched a low cost android device the Fly F351 that comes powered by single core processor running android 2.3 over a 3.5 inch HVGA screen. This handset is priced at Rs. 4,599.

The F351 is with low end outdated specs like the 1GHz single core processor. The handset supports dual SIM and comes with 256MB RAM and probably about 200 MB of internal storage. The screen is 3.5 inches with HVGA resolution (480×320 pixels).

The F351 does come with a 3MP fixed focus camera (without flash) placed on the rear and a front VGA camera. There is no 3G support you can use the 2G network (EDGE/GPRS). In addition there is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB port and 3.5mm universal audio jack. There is no built in GPS receiver.

As for the battery it is of 1200 mAh capacity that gives a good talktime of up to 10 hours. This fly handset is priced at Rs. 4,599 and will compete with Micromax A26 Bolt, Lava Iris 401E to name a few. In fact the Samsung Galaxy Star S5282 seem a better branded option for Rs. 4,990 with 512MB RAM, running on Jelly Bean OS but with a 2.9 inch screen with QVGA resolution.
