FAEA F1, a low budget handset powered by the qualcomm MSM8625Q processor will be available in India for Rs. 11,500. This is with the same qualcomm quad core processor but NFC has been included which is really surprising.
I am not sure if users will really be happy with NFC included on a budget phone as there are hardly any low cost handsets available with that feature, though it is available on some high end smartphones.
The FAEA F1 sports a 4.5 inch OGS screen with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It is a dual SIM / Dual Standby phone with 1GB Ram and 4GB internal storage. The camera is 8MP on the rear and 2MP on the front. Other features are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB and 3.5 mm audio jack. Apart from this the handset also comes with NFC and Gyro sensor. The battery is of 1800 mAh capacity.
This qualcomm chipset is coupled with Adreno 203 GPU that isn’t as powerful as PowerVR SGX found on MediaTek handsets. The F1 handset cannot record or play 1080p videos.
The FAEA F1 will probably be priced at Rs. 11,500 and may hit the Indian markets by June end, via Android Guruz. It will be better if users wait for the stock.
