Samsung has launched a premium flip smartphone in China, the Samsung W2017. This handset is powered by SD 820 chipset and comes with dual screens – one on the front and the other inside when you open the flip.
Samsung W2017 features and specifications
The W2017 not only has got the flip phone feel but the handset is also power packed. Inside the hood it is using the well known qualcomm snapdragon 820 chipset clocked at 2.15 GHz coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. Samsung W2017 is running marshmallow with 64GB ROM, 4GB RAM and 256GB external micro SD card support.
There are two screens one on the front – so you can use it like other smartphone and the other screen is inside, i.e. when you open the flip. When the flip is opened you can view the inner screen and also use the alpha numeric number keypad. Both screens are super AMOLED of size 4.2 inches supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
Samsung W2017 weight with battery is 208 grams and it is 15.8mm thick. On the back there is a 12MP camera with LED flash support and front camera can shoot in 5MP resolution. Other features are 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, heart rate sensor and finger print sensor.
This hybrid dual SIM handset houses a 2300 mAh battery with wireless fast charging support.

The W2017 price has not yet been disclosed but it will be a premium tag.
