Croma the well known Indian retailer have partnered with Intel and have launched two Intel powered tablets the Croma 1179 and Croma 1177. The 1179 is an 8 inch tablet priced at Rs. 13,990 and the 1177 a two in one tablet PC for Rs. 21,990.

The Croma 1179 comes powered by Atom Z3735D Intel processor @ 1.3GHz running Windows 8.1 with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage + micro SD support. Touch screen is 8 inches supporting 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.

1179 also comes packed with a 2MP rear camera and a 2MP on the front too. There is no LED flash support. This tab supports Wi-Fi and 3G via external dongle. Battery is of a good 5000 mAh capacity.

The 1177 is a Two in One tablet that turns into PC by attaching a keyboard (included in the price). It is using the Intel Atom Z3735D chipset running Windows 8.1. The 1177 supports 3G (built in) and Wi-Fi. This tab comes with 2MP rear camera + 2MP front camera. It sports a 10.1 inch screen with unspecified resolution.

Croma 1177 full specifications are not yet known. This 2 in 1 device will hit the stores soon for Rs. 21,990.
