Coolpad today launched the ‘Dual in One’ Coolpad Max in the India markets. This flagship handset is powered Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa core processor and is packed with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. The handset price at Rs. 24,999.

Coolpad Max key features and specifications

This is a dual SIM handset with hybrid slot. The Max is powered by snapdragon 617 64 bit 1.52GHz octa core processor (MSM8952) coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. Android 5.1.1 sails out of the box with a good 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. Screen is 5.5 inches with 2.5D curved glass and supporting 1920 x 1080p resolution.

The screen is protected with gorilla glass 4. A 13MP camera is on the rear with dual tone LED flash and on the front there is a 5MP camera. This handset can shoot FHD videos. OTG is supported and there is LED notifications. Apart from common sensors (accelerometer, light, proximity) the handset is also loaded with Gyro and Magnetic.

Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and finger print sensor. The touch ID based finger print sensor is on the back. There are no dedicated navigation button (on screen buttons will be available).

Dual in One tag stands for Dual Space technology that has been incorporated on this handset. It gives users the ability to separate their professional and personal data, in facet users can have two accounts on Facebook, Whatsapp etc. that was not possible on other phones.

There is 2800 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, the handset will be available on Amazon for Rs. 24,999 from 30th May.
