Celkon Mobiles has launched the cheapest windows powered smartphone, it is called the Celkon Win 400. This is a dual SIM handset powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor and it runs Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box.

The Celkon Win 400 houses the snapdragon 200 quad core processor MSM8212 clocked at 1.3GHz with Adreno 302 GPU. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. 2GB is the available user space and there is micro SD card slot to add more storage of up to 32GB. This dual SIM handset with dual standby mode weighs about 121 grams and is 10.3mm thick.

Looking at the price tag the screen size and resolution is on the lower side – 4 inches with 800 x 480 pixels resolution – but that should be good enough. A 5MP camera is placed on the rear with LED flash and a 1.3MP camera is placed on the front.

Key features are 3G (HSDPA), 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. This handset comes with 1500 mAh battery that gives talk time of up to 5 hours and up to 200 hours of standby time.
