Celkon today announced another low budget handset called the Celkon Signature Two A500 for Rs. 5,999. This dual SIM, dual core handset will get listed on Flipkart tomorrow. The handset does support the 3G networks.
Inside the hood this Celkon dual SIM handset houses the MT6572M dual core processor from MediaTek clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali 400 GPU. It does run Android KitKat 4.4.2 out of the box with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB external card support. It sports a 5 inch screen with FWVGA – 854 x 480 pixels resolution.
This handset also includes an 5MP camera (probably AF) with LED flash and another camera on the front with VGA resolution. Smartphone weight with battery is 147 grams and is 9.9mm thick. Common feature that you will find on many other handsets are 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS and Wi-Fi (b/g/n). There is built in FM radio.
The Signature Two A500 gets power from a 2000 mAh battery. Considering the price tag the Signature A500 doesn’t look too tempting. For a little more one can jump to the quad core category (unite 2 with 4.7 inch screen).
This Celkon Two A500 model will be exclusively available on Flipkart from 5th August 2014.
