Celkon Mobiles has launched an under Rs. 2000 smartphone called the Campus Nova A352E. This handset sails on the outdated Android 4.2.2 OS. It will be available for Rs. 1,999.
The Celkon Nova A352E comes with dual SIM slot with dual standby mode. It is an android powered handset running Jelly Bean version. The handset does not support 3G. It is powered by 1GHz (probably single core) processor.
The A352E sports a 3.5 inch touch screen with 480 x 320 pixels resolution. There is minimal RAM of 256 MB and 512 MB ROM (internal storage). There is a micro SD card slot that can house external cards of up to 32 GB.
There is a single camera of 2MP resolution placed on the rear. The primary camera is fixed focus and there is no secondary (front) camera. There is only one sensor, G-Sensor and other features are 2G (EDGE / GPRS), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. There is no built in GPS receiver.
This handset comes with a 1400 mAh Li-ion battery that should be enough for this specs. The Celkon Campus Nova A352E is priced at Rs. 1,999. With this price tag it will be competing with the firefox handsets.
