Celkon has launched another low budget smartphone that runs KitKat out of the box. The Celkon A345C houses the Spreadtrum processor running Android 4.4 with 256MB RAM. A345C does not support 3G networks and is priced at Rs. 2,599.

The Celkon A345C sports a TFT screen of 3.5 inches running KitKat over 480 x 320 pixels (HVGA) resolution. This is a dual SIM handset using the 1GHz SC6815 Processor (Spreadtrum). There is a minimal 512MB storage of which about less than 200MB will be available. Users however can use the micro SD card slot to add external storage of up to 32GB.

There is 2MP rear fixed focus camera and a VGA front camera. Rear camera is with LED flash support. As mentioned this is a 2G smartphone, 3G is not supported. You can use EDGE / GPRS networks. Other features are Wi-Fi (b/g/n) with hotspot and Bluetooth. There is no built in GPS receiver.

This handset comes with a 1200 mAh battery that as per the company gives talk time of up to 14 hours. This low cost Celkon 2G smartphone will be available soon in red, yellow, blue and white colour options for Rs. 2,599.
